Locally grown flowers with a wild touch
Locally grown flowers with a wild touch
Hi, I’m Shawna—lifelong flower lover, accidental cow wrangler, and wannabe farm girl who finally made it happen (with the help of a very patient husband and a dream that wouldn’t quit).
After years of filling grocery carts with fresh flowers and daydreaming about a farm of my own, we finally took the leap. We bought a piece of land just a mile from the home we lived in for over 15 years, and with a lot of hard work—and a little chaos—Wild Sisters Farm was born.
Now, we grow vibrant, seasonal blooms in the heart of Central Oregon, with Highland cows grazing in the pasture, Australian Shepherds underfoot, two adventurous sons who pitch in when they can, and a mean turkey who thinks he runs the place.
My husband, a “recovering farm boy” himself, swore he’d never return to farm life. But here we are—planting, harvesting, and living the dream (with a few blisters and muddy boots to prove it).
Whether you're stopping by for a bouquet, booking a u-pick, or just here for the flowers-and-fluff content, we're so glad you're part of this wild little adventure.
Our passionate team of flower enthusiasts starts in the barnyard.
The composting company of Toulouse Geese, and flock of chickens ensure the flowers have plenty of nutrients.
Our ruminants are led by the small herd of Scottish Highland cattle, and they ensure the carbon is cycled in the pastures while enjoying leftover sunflowers in late summer! Stay tuned for Highland cow sales in the future.
